We found the contents of the Retronintendo Commerative Disc (or RnCD as no one ever called it) and as a gift we present them here free of charge. Sorry everyone who bought a copy and are pissed that the contents are now free for everyone but take solace in the fact that you own the actual disc :)

Counter-top NES arcade cabinet

Here’s a counter-top Nintendo arcade that basically consists of an XP machine running a NES emulator, all connected to a 17-inch LCD housed inside a custom-built cabinet made of MDF.

The Sega Genesis, put on the market to challenge Nintendo, turned 20 on Friday. And after a long and enviable stint, it became a classic game console that, to this day, is remembered as one of the few that made its mark without actually leading the market by the end of its generation.

Portable SNES mod is slick enough to hit retail

Sometimes mods go to such lengths that words like ‘homebrewed’ and ‘DIY’ no longer do them justice. Presenting the Nintendo SNES Portable. Not the first, and probably not the last of its kind, this bad boy mobilizes Nintendo’s venerable console with a few buttons from a PSOne controller and a ridiculously detailed skinning job — yes, even the packaging gets a makeover.
