I'm thinking of picking it up on Amazon, does anybody have any stories on it. So far it looks good but it looks to similar to the original which Im not a big fan of.

It was a great game in its time, but it is very similar to the first game. If you didn't like the first one that much, then I wouldn't recommend spending money on the second one. If you haven't played Super Metroid yet, you should certainly get than. I can also recommend Metroid Fusion for GBA. I've heard Zero Mission was really good, but since its a remake of the first Metroid you might not like that as much.

I actually own all Metroids except Return of Samus, sorry I didnt mention that. I love all the Metroids except the first and actually Zero Mission is a great game, its a re-make not a port. Think Metroid meets Super Metroid. I got ZM on day one, I love it.
I decided to go for it and buy RoS, it should be here before X-mas, so hopefully its good.
