Chrono Fan Game: Crimson Echoes 98% Complete Leaked

by Jeromy on May.31, 2009, under SNES

Just two weeks ago it was reported that Squre-Enix sending the fans and developers of Crimson Echoes a C&D letter to halt development of the game for infringement of copyrights. Good news for fans as the game has been released leaked out earlier today. Square-Enix isn’t going to be too happy about this but at least the fans are.

I don’t feel comfortable posting a direct link to download this but I suspect if you visit this site you’d probably find a link to it.

Rumor says DSi to get Gameboy, GBA downloads

by Jeromy on May.29, 2009, under DS, Gameboy

As we all know, the DSi cannot play Gameboy or Gameboy Advance games, due to the fact that the cartridge slot was removed. This gives Nintendo the opportunity to look “generous” by offering old handheld games as downloadable titles on the DSiWare Store. It’s ingenous, isn’t it? Nintendo fans will lap it up, claiming that Nintendo truly cares about the “core gamer” and Reggie Fils-Aime will be carried through the streets as a king.

Anamanaguchi – Rock and Roll and NES

by Jeromy on May.29, 2009, under Mods, NES, Weird

The band Anamanaguchi out of New York program music onto a NES cart and rock out along with the 8bit track.

“They program their own songs using sounds that are able to be made by the NES. They put it on a chip, they put the chip into a custom NES cartridge, and then they run the audio out on the NES into speakers. When they don’t want to use the NES they emulate it on a laptop.”
